Ingredients
- 2 cups Carrots (shredded)
- 1 1/2 cup Desiccated Coconut
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- 1/2 – 3/4 tin Condensed milk
- 2 tbsp Rose water
- 2 1/2 tbsps Ghee/ Unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp Almonds (finely chopped)
- Heat a heavy bottomed pan on low flame, add in the ghee and shredded carrots. Saute the carrots for 10-15 minutes constantly.
- Now mix in half the quantity of condensed milk and let the carrots cook for a few minutes.
- Add in rose water, cardamom powder, dessicated coconut and the rest of the condensed milk, and saute the mixture until well combined.
- Once the condensed milk has absorbed well into the mixture, switch off the flame and mix in the chopped almonds.
- Let the mixture cool for about 5-8 minutes.
- Grease your palms with ghee or butter and roll small balls out of the carrot mixture, and after that, roll it in dessicated coconut.
