Ingredients
- 750g Chicken
- 2 Onions (chopped)
- 1 Tomato (chopped)
- 1 Green chillies
- 1 spring Curry leaves
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
Method
- Heat oil in a pan. Add chicken and brown in oil, remove and keep it aside.
- Add fennel seeds and cumin seeds to the pan and let it crackle.
- Add chopped onion and sauté them until golden. Now add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- Add turmeric, red chilly powder, pepper powder and garam masala. Stir for a minute making sure there is enough oil, so that nothing sticks to the pan.
- Now add chopped tomatoes and sauté until it is soft.
- Add chicken pieces and salt. Cover and simmer until the chicken is tender.
- Sprinkle freshly ground pepper powder.
- Remove from flame. Add lemon juice and mix well. Delicious Pepper chicken is ready! 🙂
