Mango Lassi

Lassi is a yogurt-based drink that’s very popular in India, it’s a very cooling, refreshing and healthy drink. And what better way than to combine the sweetness of mangoes with the coolness of yogurt to create a refreshing drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mango, preferably Alphonso Mango (pureed)
  • 1 cup Plain Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Sugar/ Honey
  • Pinch of ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp Rose water
  • 2 Ice cubes

Mango Lassi

Method

  • Put mango puree, yogurt, sugar and rose water into a blender and blend for 2 minutes.
  • Then pour into individual glasses, garnish with a few strands of saffron and serve.
