Ingredients
- 200g Button Mushrooms
- 2 tbsp Plain flour
- 2 tbsp Cornflour
- 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp Maggie chicken cube
- Water (as needed)
- Pinch of salt
- Oil for deep frying
For the sauce
- 1 Onion (cubed)
- 2 Spring Onion (chopped)
- 6 Green beans (chopped)
- 2 Green chillies ( slit)
- 1 tbsp Red chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp Soya sauce
- 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/8 tsp maggie chicken cube
- Pich of salt
- Pinch of sugar
- 3 tbsp Oil
Method
- Heat oil in a pan. Start by making the batter my mixing plain flour, corn flour, pepper, maggie chicken cube, salt and water to form a thick paste.
- Add in chopped mushroom and mix well. Drop in hot oil and fry till golden brown. Drain and set aside.
- In another pan, heat oil and add in onions, green beans and green chillies. Sauté them for a couple of minutes.
- Now add in soya sauce, red chilli sauce, maggie chicken cube, pepper, salt and sugar; mix well. Add some water if you think it’s a bit dry.
- Now add in the fried mushroom pieces and mix well so the sauce coats all mushroom pieces.
- Add in spring onion and serve immediately.
